Are you interested in furthering your knowledge of Quality of Working Life research? Perhaps you have used the WRQoL scale and want to investigate it further.

The University of Portsmouth, QoWL research group is offering a PhD bursary for someone wishing to study Quality of Working Life. The bursary will pay UK / EU part-time PhD fees for the successful applicant. The bursary will not pay for living expenses and so may suit someone currently working in, or with easy access to, an organisation that undertakes staff surveys. Further details about the position and conditions can be found on FindaPhD.com.

Dr Darren Van Laar said "We are very pleased to offer someone the chance to study for their PhD with us. The University of Portsmouth is a world leader in this research and we are often contacted by researchers and students wanting to know more about our work. This PhD position - with part-time fees paid for up to six years - will enable a keen and highly motivated individual the chance to work on their own QoWL-related project and to make an original contribution to knowledge in this area. We would be especially keen to explore the links between the WRQoL scale and other wellbeing at work measures such as stress or employee engagement".
