As part of our assessment methods we developed and tested the Work-Related Quality of Life scale (WRQoL scale) alongside the HSE's HSE Work-Related Stress scale.
The scale contains 35 items each evaluated on a 5 point Likert scale and produces seven factors which attempt to provide a wide ranging assessment of stress at work.
We have used the HSE stress scale alongside our other scales since 2005 and have norm group data for comparing many occupational groups including a general population group, a primary education group, a national charity group, a University general staff group and a University union member group.
If you are a public sector or university researcher and you would like to help us validate the WRQOL scale and HSE Stress scales by distributing the questionnaire in your organisation, then please contact us through our enquiry form. This WRQoL scale is free to public sector, researchers and if you send the data to us to add to our data pool then we will score your data for free. Alternatively you may qualify for our free survey offer and short summary report.
