The survey enables us to give your employer feedback on a number of factors and outcomes relevant to quality of working life. Here’s some more information about the scales included in the survey you just completed. Please follow the links if you want to find out more.
The Work-Related Quality of Life (WRQoL) scale. Our WRQoL scale is a fully tested, comprehensive, psychometric measure of an employee’s Quality of Working Life developed by Chartered Psychologists at the University of Portsmouth. It enables feedback on six core factors which interact to explain and predict an individual’s Quality of Working Life:
Check out our WRQoL Factors page for more information.
The QoWL Work & Well-being Outcome (WWO) scale provides data related to twenty specific outcomes related to Quality of Working Life such as intention to stay, quality of supervision, sense of achievement, and pride in the organisation.
The HSE Work-related stress scale provides feedback on the seven stressor categories included in the UK Health & Safety Executive’s Management Standards, such as demands, management support, and relationships.
You might also have been asked some organisation-specific questions that your organisation wanted feedback on, and you may have given us some comments in response to an open question about how to improve quality of working life.
We never feed back anything that could identify you as an individual. We’re governed by, and follow, strict guidelines set by our professional body, The British Psychological Society, which means we won’t provide feedback on smaller groups or individuals. Also, if we do provide feedback on comments in response to an open question, it’s by means of a ‘thematic analysis’ in order to protect your anonymity.

If you know anyone that might be interested in our survey, please let them know, or even better, let us know. We work closely with HR and Organisational Development Professionals and have comparison benchmarks for the following sectors: Higher Education, Further Education, Schools, Unions, Local Government / Public Sector, Financial Services, and Call/Contact Centres.
Thanks again for taking part.
